I think that Passages is the band’s best album, and it is available from all good, and indeed, all remaining retailers right now. And at the gigs. And streaming services. Oh, and to download. Does anybody actually download music any more? Even illegally? The vinyl gatefold is really handsome, though. I’m not just being daft about that.
You know when the early Viking settlers swept down from the frozen north? It’s basically that.
Keep doing this, only more. It’s going really well. Don’t make eye contact with those concerned onlookers.
I’ll speak for now, and the UK, I think. One of my favourite gigs was the Soundhouse, in Leicester. It was pretty cramped, but the upside of those places is that you see the whites of the audience’s eyes. And when they’re enjoying it as much as the band are – that feeling is incredible.
I tend towards classic hip-hop, so PE are awesome, and forever. This might get me shot, but I prefer Led Zeppelin/Black Sabbath to AC/DC.
On a modern note – Childish Gambino’s work has been incredible recently, but especially the This is America song/video double whammy. I watched it pretty obsessively, for days, when it was put out there.
This one’s easy. Sheffield, April 2018. We coincided with the snooker. Everywhere had been booked up for a year. So our accommodation was a bit Crapston Villas, to say the least.
Who am I? Where am I? Why do I feel this way? is my on-tour motto.
Do I feel real? is my waking-up-on-tour motto.
Everything is as it should be.
I don’t have children, but if I did, they’d be encouraged to wear outlandish clothing whilst they were still young, yes. It’s the best time in your life for such pursuits.
My first record was a novelty hit called Bionic Santa. The first I bought with my own money was almost certainly by Adam and the Ants. They have had exactly 0% influence on Jesus Jones, that I’m aware of. There’s still time, though.
The last Twitter listening party was amazing, and we’re doing it again! This time, it’s “Perverse”, and it’s going to be even better – hopefully, with your help. It was all the tweets from you, that made it such a blast last time, so get involved again!
March 16th, at 8pm (GMT) – see you there!
Read MoreIt’s time we got back out on tour, isn’t it? It’s been WAY too long – and this year has seen us do some amazing things, in different places all over the world – but it’s time to get back to the UK. In November, we’re celebrating thirty years (!!) of our debut album “Liquidizer”, and will be playing it in full (with lots of other stuff as well)

It’s been…more than a while, actually. But, we’re going back to play in the US. We’re doing a couple of shows, in a couple of weeks
